Bought my vette at 55, after all bills paid off and could pay cash. If I'd known my 50's are this good, I'd have gotten older sooner.

7D. (Too depressing a number to write out). But when I get in my vette, I feel like a kid.

I don't care - pretty much any Corvette is the elixir of youth. I giggled like a schoolboy when I first drove my Z06 at near WOT. FWIW, I'm 66 and I confess I have chrome wheels.

Hopefully GM can figure out a way to make the car more appealing to guys my age who can afford them (I am 35 and I drive a 18 zo6 with a $89,570 MSRP). I am seeing too many friends my age who are buying even more expensive Benz, bmws and Porsche’s but at 35 I am in the old dying fart club. When I got my 18 zo6 and posted it on Facebook my cousin replied asking if I got my free year of viagra and 2 anus fingering prostrate exams because GM gives these for free to Corvette buyers with the Ron Fellows because all the buyers are old, senile half dead farts.

73 now, bought my first Corvette at 71 (2016 ZO6/ZO7 M7). I've had sports cars continuously since age 18, mostly British including Aston Martin.

I went to my first corvette club meeting last night and let's just say I was the only one who didn't have grey hair. I was welcome as I was lowering the age average quite significantly. All great folks all around but I think most of them had at least 20 years on me.

Maybe we need a time line of how many Vettes and when you got the first.

You are living in Ft Lauderdale, FL...Maybe that's another reason for the characterization...

When I went to Ron Fellows in May all the guys there were old farts except me and another guy in his 40s. At 35 I was the youngest.

Is anyone really shocked that 76% of the poll is showing owners ages to be between 45 and 74? Those categories "normally" represent folks that are either at the peak earning years of their career to folks within their retirement years who have saved a sizable nest egg to spend on a nice car.
