She's a real beauty - could you share your thoughts on the Z51 vs GS and the M7 vs A8? Just curious cause I have the exact Z51/M7 you had...

Well, I've been one of those who said it ain't a sports car unless it has three pedals... But, in traffic, especially stop and go, the M7 was a pain in the back and in the left leg for me now, unfortunately... I haven't really driven the A8 really spiritedly yet because I'm taking it easy to break it in. But the A8 is definitely fun to drive. Seems like the automatic shifts a lot. Both my wife and I think you have to press harder on the accelerator to get it to get up and go. When I stop after driving on the freeway, I'm looking for the clutch! I keep shutting off the engine without putting it in park and then it doesn't unlock the doors, etc.
From inside the car, other than the M7 vs A8, I honestly can't tell a whole lot of difference. Seat of the pants, the GS does seem quieter and more stuck to the road, that could be the tires on the 2014 were worn out..
There will probably be days when I regret getting a black one, but oh my, it sure looks good! These wheels really light my fire!
