I was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident 22 years ago but love to drive Corvettes. The Corvette isn't the most convenient "accessible" vehicle but it's certainly the most fun.I also have a Tahoe when I need a vehicle with more space but the Z06 is my daily driver. Since this thread was dealing with ingress/egress, I thought I'd share it here, especially if you know someone who is also physically challenged but still loves sports cars.
I had someone contact me about making a video of how I get my wheelchair in the car so I posted this "tutorial" on YouTube. Adapt, overcome, improvise... But most of all, have fun!

Nope, if I use my entry/exit settings. At 76 still pretty easy.
Those exit/entry settings are seat back all the way, front and rear up all the way, steering wheel in and up alll the way. The seat automatically goes into the exit position when I open the door with the car stopped. No issue getting in and out.
I occationally will leave the car running when I get out to get the mail from the mailbox. Rather than push the Exit seating position button then having to hold my #1 seat position when I get back in, I slip out, which is a bit of a PIA. Then slip back in, also a PIA.
My driving position is seat somewhat forward, front of seat high and rear low with seat back tilted back. The wheel is down and out slightly.

I do indeed. Enough so that I'm considering a Cadillac CTS-V as a replacement. No regrets with getting my C7, it's been a terrific car, but it might be time for something a bit higher off the ground. Or, I could just leave the top off...

I'm 63 years old and as long as I use the swivel method getting in and out is no problem. However I'm only 5'10" and I have short legs. I think taller guys or guys with long legs would have an issue. I also have a knee replacement on my right leg and it limits how much I can bend it so there are times that I have to bend it a bit with my hand.

I don't think these cars were built for dudes like me. Definitely have issues but I don't care.

I'm 77. As a rule I have no problems getting in or out of my C7. But, when I am in a position where I cannot open the door fully, then, yes.

Harder to get in and out compared to my SUV, but I wouldn't call it trouble. 10 years from now it might be trouble, but hopefully 20 years from now.

I wouldn't say I have trouble, however I do seem to make it harder on myself than it needs to be as a result of my taking extra care not to scrape/scuff the outer side bolster.

I use the same method I've used since I bought my first Corvette at the ripe old age of 29. I fall in, and crawl out.

I do have difficulty getting out due to the fact I try parking as close to the left side wall of the garage as I can,
so I can easily open my d/d doors without fear of hitting the Vette. Otherwise, not much of a problem

To exit the car I use the "Left Hand, Stiff Arm" method--------------Open the door (obviously), then take your left hand and brace it on the rear area of the rocker panel/ door sill. Then swing your left leg out and plant it on the ground. Take your right hand and grab the outer edge of the steering wheel and pivot around on your Stiff Arm. It sounds complicated but it uses three body parts lifting at the same time and I do it quite gracefully

Same here. I use the steering wheel like a grab handle to help in the process. Getting in would be SO much easier if the dash didn't have that pointed edge. Your rear has to go in first, then tuck in your legs and spin into position. In my driveway I have limited room, thus I have to get one leg in, then kind slide over. I saw a bigger guy in a black GS today and immediately my wife turned and said "how does he fit?!?". I am tallish (6'1") and thin so my knees brush the steering column when the seat is the right distance away from the wheel.
