Default 20 year members?

Are there any yet? What's the oldest? I'm closing in on 19 but BillD and many, many others predate me by a long shot (in part because I stuck with the old L-Server or Majordomo email list for a long time!).

(BTW, did you know that searching for "longest member" can bring up some disturbing results on the Internet?)

If you want to research, go up to "Community" in the red menu bar, click on "Members List" then click on the "Member Since" column header. It will show members sorted from oldest to newest sign up time and you can sort the other way too if you want to. It is kind of interesting.

Didn't realize it was there, thanks for pointing it out.

Wow 49 years is the oldest. Hasn't posted since 2002. Make sure to click on the "Member Since" column:

LMAO

Not sure if serious. Member of an online forum since 1969?

Those 4 members with 1969 join dates must be an error or a glitch.

I know seems pretty odd. I'm thinking they may not be with us anymore.

1969 (technically 1/1/1970, but time zones pushed it back) is the date epoch on several UNIX server types. Was probably a defaulted date after server migrations.

Looks to me like Feb 1999 is pretty much as far as they really go back! Have to know the real start date of the forum, I guess!

I believe February is the beginning. I had been reading for a while and registered in March. I recall a thread where folks were trying to guess if we would hit 1000 members by the end of the year. It was a lot different back then, smaller community of enthusiasts.

I don't recall when I became a moderator, but dropped off being a mod around 2006/2007 time frame.

The forum cruise-ins were awesome. Some of the best times with those folks.
