I loved my C5 until I purchased my 2008 C6. It seemed head and shoulders over the previous generation. I was at the unveiling of the C7 in 2014 and I wasn't crazy about it all. Started to change my opinion when the Grand Sports came out and pulled the trigger on a new GS this past summer. I absolutely love the car. In my opinion it is far superior in every way over my C6. Not sorry at all I made the move. Just my humble opinion.

I'm totally down with my C7's M7 with RevMatch. It makes the awesomeness of the M7 driving experience even more awesome! !

There is so much, but the first things my ears noticed on the drive home from the dealer were a stereo actually worth listening to and an awesome exhaust note from the factory.

My C6 blew me away, my 2019 Stingray took the blow away to a whole new level. The control and handling is way better. The C6 ride was nice but I never really, deep down trusted the car because I could never become one with the car. I am one with my C7, I know exactly where the car is in tight high speed cornering. Whole different ball game. The cockpit seems a bit smaller, meaning nothing but it’s smaller but it is nicely done and a bit nicer than the C6. I’m thrilled with everything about my C7.

Considering all the added technology, performance, etc. GM did a great job keeping the car's curb weight down to 3400 lbs. (approx), the same as the Porsche 911. All cars are heavier today than 10-20 years ago, much of that heft added by govt. mandated safety features and consumer driven feature demand.

Owned two C6’s including a 427 convertible which I thought at the time I bought it I would own forever but the C7 styling, fit and finish and ride quality won me over. I will own my C7 Z51 M7 for a long time.

I was so against the C7 and never thought I would get one because I loved my C6Z so much but when I drove one, the interior feel and all the technology along with the looks was just too much for me to deny. I had to dump my Z for my C7.

Pretty much everything.
I never much cared for the exterior looks of the C6, didn't much like the interior either.
Love everything about the C7. Especially the view out over the hood and front fenders, reminds me a lot of the C3.

I'll tell you what, my 2017 Z51 M7 coupe may weigh 3400 lbs, but it doesn't FEEL that heavy at all when I drive it.

The way it made my wife react when she saw a C7 for the first time, “Well, ****” when she knew one would be in our future.
