No need to be crass regardless IMHO. It's cringeworthy whether there are women present or not.
If there's one thing I've noticed on this forum, for a pretty short time as a member, it's this:
The overwhelming majority seem to be conservative
The majority are men
The majority are 55+
Quite a few have major egos
Quite a few have a low tolerance for things they disagree with
And there's not much anyone can do about it! Lol!
Simply put, because despite what people say, you can have too much power. If your suspension and tires can't put down and hook up with the power you are making, it is pointless to increase the engine without fixing the transmission of power problem.
When I worked on a rally crew, people would actually detune the power on snow, because it made the car far more usable.
Regardless of what I drive (17 GS), driving from Point A to Point B fast here in Idaho is awesome in ANY Corvette. And most likely just as fun in a base Stingray as it is in a Z06.
Racing on a track is a different story, HP matters. Z06 can dominate the track when all its fantastic characteristics are applied properly.

I had to laugh at this as it's pretty perceptive and nearly spot on. Specifically if by bad luck one ends up in one of the thousands of political threads that get posted to this AUTO ENTHUSIAST forum daily.
The only thing you missed was to make it a quiz. If you match up to at least 3 out of 5 you may be an insufferable *******. If you match up with at least 4 out of 5 you are most definitely an insufferable *******. If you are a 5 out of 5 there is no help for you.....
