92 MPH on valet video

70MPH was the nearest speed sign to that exit, so 22MPH over.

If there isn't damage to your car, just move on and find yourself another dealer.

Call me bored, but here you go, exit 43 on SB I35W: https://goo.gl/maps/8oED3vfx1F32

"Former GA cop here - I take exception to that statement. We can't be on the interstate/highway everytime you're on it, but I promise, this also irritates the cops. They (we) will, and have, pull over left-lane-idiots and issue tickets. They'll (we) also pull over the idiot behind him, flashing lights, following too close, being aggressive - they get tickets too - and many times jail (super-speeder is 20MPH over posted). CO also has a left-lane law and I have seen it enforced. Ease up on the rhetoric."
So, if this guy had been caught, depending on the LEO's mood that day, he could have been in serious trouble. Not someone I would want in my employ. But that's just me...

Agree. The speed is an issue for a driver who gets caught but certainly won't hurt a C7. It's more a liability issue for the dealership, and as long as you're not in his face about it, the Service Manager should appreciate being notified.

Clearly there are two camps: those it bothers and those it doesn't.
OP was asking for advice on what to do about it. Sounds like the Dealership isn't overly apologetic. I, for sure, would take my business elsewhere. That may be about all you can do, OP.

and now that you know where the car was driven, there is only one Chevrolet dealer within 10 miles of that location....

If it was me, I'd mention it to the service manager but wouldn't expect much. My concern would be WOT, spinning tires and banging gears to get to the speed. Tailgating and other bad driving habits would make it an issue as well. These cars will easily do 90+ so I wouldn't be overly concerned.

Whats gonna happen in this situation is you're gonna become the customer they hate seeing come through the door. I see you wanted it parked inside and were under the assumption they were gonna watch your car every minute of the day, probably needed the room to work on something other than storage. As long as they fix my issues when I carry mine in, I really don't care what they do with it. If they wreck it, they are insured and so is my car. Mine is just a Chevy, not a Ferrari F40.

over the last two years, and two C7's I have had to polish out scratches every time they touch my car. This is the reason that when I take it in, the service manager says he will keep it safe. I wasn't under the assumption it was going to be watched every minute. He just says it will not be moved by just anyone, and it will be kept inside at night with all the other Corvette's. For the most part, he has been a nice guy over the years, but now it's hard to know what was truth and what was BS.

Forum members trying to justify dealers running errands and going on joy rides with customer cars? Oh this is new.
