Guys,

If your C7 is a few years old and you drive it a lot, you may want to consider getting good quality seat covers put on to keep the bolsters from getting worn. Every time you slide across the seat you're adding to to the wear. Eventually its gonna show and your car's value will suffer because of it. Its not a matter of IF it will show, its a matter of WHEN it will show. Take a close look at your seats today. You may see wear already starting! And seats don't heal - they will just get worse.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

I'm not sure what *new* C7 seats cost but decent used ones generally run $2000-3000. That's if you can find them to match your car...
A pair of seat covers that costs less than $400 sure seems like a good investment. Don't wait until the wear becomes visible. Then its too late!

Dave

Dave are these the only colors to choose from now. Are there other color in the future. Thanks. Also the pic that is posted can you just get the black suade center with the outer bolster solid red.

This is a brand new offering for us and the color combinations are limited to the five listed ones for now. As sales grow, I will definitely add other color combinations.
Until then, there are very good matches with a lot of cars from the the existing five styles. Sometimes contrast is the best look. Like a gray car with blue or red accent seat skin. Or white car with red diamond skins. IMHO...
Cheers,
Dave

Have you seen this in person? If not, how do you legitimately comment on these and question the quality?

If your looking for a set of seat covers look hard at these.
looks good, but I do notice that there seems to be a pretty big sag in the diamond pattern area of the back rest...it’s hard to see in the picture ,but once you look for it it becomes noticeable.

LOL, funny comment. Its a seat COVER and looks great! Im sure the "pretty big sag" will dissipate after a few days of driving, and you can tighten it up... Geesh!

Knowing it's a seat cover that will protect your original seats, I'd be OK with a couple imperfections. Especially for the price!

Overall, I think they look amazing!

QUOTE=ryang25;1598639275]would the seat airbags function with the cover?[/QUOTE]

Concerns over proper airbag deployment would keep me from putting any type of seat cover on. I spent several years at an OEM seat manufacturer as a Program Manager. Engineering seats and covers for proper deployment was a major part of the development of a new seat. The seam over the area from which the bag is deployed is a critical element of the system. Seats are tested with high speed cameras looking at deployment timing and fill rates. Putting a cover over the existing seat surface can do nothing but degrade proper the fill time and pattern.

True. I have not really tried to adjust much and Dave said after you sit in them awhile they will mold to the seat more.

Yes they fit around the airbag housing.

I had mine done at seatcoversunlimited.com and they had some wrinkles and a bit of sag at first but they smoothed out eventually. These pics were taken the day they were installed. While I like mine, the OP covers look amazing. So much so, I might change out mine for a set. Nice job OP....they look great.

Hi,
No sorry, I cannot recommend one. But a quick search of "seat covers" in Yelp should give you a listing you can choose from.
If they need info on the installation, direct them to this document:

They are really not that hard to install. If your up to a little bending and tugging it not bad and can be done one part at a time so you can split it into four sessions.

I'm loving mine. Anything that saves the original seat.
I'll admit its not fun digging around under the seats and velcroing this and strapping that but well worth the effort!
