I hate to say this but my experience with these types of suits is this one will probably be settled just before GM launches the C10 (provided GM is still viable).

How many GM vehicles have been sold with the A8? I seriously doubt GM can replace all of them. Best we can hope for is an extended warranty with unlimited band aid repairs since it seems there is no real fix. Since my TC replacement and fluid flush coupled with continuous use of a Range my car is good. How long will it last? That is the question.

Good to see GM is being held to account for the A8. I could have ordered a 2014 in LRG (which I loved) but decided to go w/ the 2015 for the A8. I really regret that decision.
For those w/o an issue, good for you. (And) I really mean that. Way too many w/ issues to let GM off the hook IMO $60-$70K car with a problem that cannot apparently be fixed. Hoping the C8 isn't plagued w/ a similar issues.

Some of you people are funny thinking the lawyers are going to help you. You'll get pennys, not enough to fix/replace the transmissions, probably not enough to pay for the 3X fluid flush, and the lawyers get the pot of gold. Since the issue will now be settled GM will walk away from any warranty work and can even walk away from any new work on fixing the problem and suppling parts for the current transmission. You, the small guy will be "holding the empty bag" and the lawyers will be hiring someone to count their gold or buy another tax sheltered sports franchise. While GM is a crook, the biggest crooks are the lawyers.

Regardless of who gets the bulk of the settlement GM will have to pay. That should get their attention..
