Yes that's what I meant...Museum delivery. Met a nice lady who used to work at the Museum and was involved with the delivery and giving the plant tours to watch your car being built. I asked if you take Museum delivery do you still have to pay the destination charge...she didn't know but was interested in knowing. I'll now be able to tell her...thanks. Bob

I believe the destination charge is the same for a museum delivery as it is for a Spokane Washington, Bangor Maine, Key West Florida, or San Diego California delivery. It's a flat rate for any distance travelled for the delivery. You pay extra for the Museum delivery as you get a tour and some serious instructions on the operation of the car.

About .19¢ per foot
Hey
F Y I.....I asked the same question when I did the museum delivery in 2006....they do load the cars on a truck and deliver them to the museum....therefore you pay the delivery charge.....according to mapquest it’s about 1.1 miles from the factory to the museum...it would be quicker just to drive the car down the street rather than load/unload....oh well
today the delivery charge on a C7 is $1095.....so at 1.1 (5808 feet) miles it works out to about .19¢ per foot.
Who’s gonna complain about an extra .19¢ per foot when your spending over $60,000-$130,000 ?
