It's a 17 1LT. It's my first so I dont know what or dry. I haven't jacked it up as I'm afraid to with my crappy floor jack without pucks.

What is the fluid, at least? Assumed to be oil, above. Is it? If so, it could be significant to nearly zilch, as noted. The car is probably two or three years old... s**t's going to happen. The good thing is you saw it when you backed out. Hopefully it wasn't doing so when you drove it in. Was there a puddle? Big? Small?

You at least LOOKED where it was parked, right? You'll get it fixed and then... ENJOY!

Yes a little more info is needed. Is it Z51? It'll have dry sump and should have had the 500 mile oil change recently and perhaps has a small leak. Did you wipe your finger in the liquid and try to determine what it is? It could be a/c condensation but I doubt it if you just pulled it out cold. It does appear to be oil. You've had it two weeks and low miles, it's under warranty. Get it to the dealer and let us know what happened.

Looks like a non Z51 from the aero under the car (so wet sump). That puddle is right under where the filter is. My $20 bet is that the filter is the issue (not on all the way, or double gasketed). Any takers?

I know things will happen but just disappointed guys. It's a Stingray 1LT so again, I don't know what or dry. I'm not very mechanical but I believe its oil. That is the puddle in my garage in the photo.

Yup, My bet is (if the 500 mile oil change was done) the old oil filter gasket stuck to the block and the tech didn't notice. OP has been running on two gaskets.

You have a Stingray base car so it's a wet sump LT1 engine. All Z51, Grand Sport, and Z06 are dry sump. And it could literally just be a loose oil filter. Myself I'd be jacking it up to tighten it, check/add oil, clean it up and back in action. But I have the pucks.

Get some hockey pucks from amazon or big5 or your local hockey rink. You're going to need them sooner or later.

I thought stingrays didn't have the center air dam? Probably a dry sump.

Anyway, good news is 99% of the time, on new cars, oil leaks aren't a big deal. A hose or a gasket.

Base one does (have center dam). Z51 not so much

900 miles on the car, it should not have had it's first oil change yet on a wet-sump.

But, being a 2017 maybe they changed the oil before delivery?
