Saw this on the highway. The suspension was getting pretty heavily flexed when the truck would roll over a defect in the road. Then I spotted the ratchet placement...

Gonna bet that the truck driver will un-ratchet and roll that GS/Z06 off the trailer like nobody's business and never report it. We can only hope that the destination personnel see it before he starts to un-ratchet.

This stuff happens ALL the time with transporters. I used to build custom motorcycles and no matter how careful you were, a transporter would ALWAYS find a way to ding the paint. They'll deny it, the consignee will argue about it, they'll end up fixing it as cheaply as they can, and move on to skinning up the next paint job.
One of the reasons your ground effects are mounted after a delivery.These type of trailers are all ramps.Corvette is to low for the amount of suspension movement. Notice some of the transport enclosed trailers are a flat lift to the double stacking of vehicles.
Less vehicles are hauled and loaded safely per truck load.That is your price adjustment.
That’ll buff right out. Lol..assuming it’s used and on its way from an auction..the dealers body guy touch that up..seems as if it were spanking new then a white cover would have been over it and the side skirts would still be a box.
you got me thinking op..I got mine used and delivered from one carmax in VA to a closer one ..only took them a day but I’ve got those same carbon flash skirts but not sure if mine came on a flatbed or carrier.
I will definate check check them out tomorrow. Nice camera work!

Better give it a once over! I hope that it's going to a dealer. It would be a bummer for someone eagerly awaiting it's arrival...and it shows up damaged.
We just got a used grand sport from auction at work and both exposed carbon fiber rockers were damaged in same spot and now I know how it happened lol.

I wish I knew where it was headed to let the person recieving know and send them these pictures. I was in Georgia headed South when I saw it. It could have gone anywhere though.
None of the other cars were bouncing like the Z06 was. That last spot on the trailer isn't good...
The one we got was on the same place on the truck. I know we are going after auction house/ trucking company for damages since wasn’t damaged at time of auction. I’m going to show my boss these pics today.

looks like the moron who transported my Z, I had pics of the damage as he loaded it and he still denied.
