Black wheels are fine, if you like making your Corvette look like a beater taxicab. I know the folks who have them think they are cool.

They aren't.

Oh, I messed up, I thought the poll was "are you a fan of black or dark wheels "yes" or "no" ...even though I'm a fan and voted "yes", I would have voted "no" if they had asked if I thought they were cool...

I like admiring the choices others make for their cars. I prefer black wheels on mine.

I can go with these black wheels on a silver car. They and the Cups are much nicer than the very busy Z06 wheels. And these are clean as is the car.

Now here is one that is trying to match the aesthetics of a black matte wrap with oem wheels with a special coating of 3 years of brake dust.

It looks like your entire wheels are black, not just the rim part.

Many on here would disagree with you. Newsflash, just because YOU don't think something is cool doesn't mean it isn't. Every since GM started offering black wheels on the Corvette it's been a very popular option.

You guys are just toooooooooo easy.

"How dare ANYONE say that my personal choice for my own car isn't exactly what everyone in the world should like, admire and want?"

For God's sake, people - get over yourselves. It's your car it's your choice. I can't help it if you made a bad one.

He probably meant this: Black wheels are fine, if I made my Corvette look like a beater taxicab. I know the folks who have them think they are cool but mine would not be.

Never liked black wheels before. Always thought that they looked like people got them because they didn't want to clean them. Bought my car from dealer stock. Wheels were there. I think they look good with the color.

I didn't until I started shopping C7s. Most of the color combos I was looking at looked better with black and that is what I went with. My still buy a set of chrome or polished aluminum for it, but I'm very happy with the wheels I have.

Btw, I keep my black wheels clean.

I keep them clean too. I like them so much that I bought the same as replicas for my All Season tires.
