I went with the 2017 stock silver wheels. They look ok, provide a fixture to place the tires on and they didn’t cost extra. Anyway can’t see the wheels when you are driving.
I know it's the new look but,I like shiny chrome when in motion!
Its not actually a new look. Black wheels gained popularity about 10 years ago, maybe more. When they first started getting popular I liked them a lot. I’m getting tired of them now. The thing about black wheels is they all look similar from more than 5 feet away. The details don’t show up.
i have black wheels on my M4 and pearl nickel on my GS.
For three years I left the painted silver OEM wheels on my 14 Z51 Cyber Gray coupe. But in two days it goes in to the shop to have a set of OEM chrome Z51 wheels mounted. I've seen black on a twin Cyber Gray Z51 and the answer is No. I like the gloss black wheels with a red stripe on my friends Z06. I've seen a few black wheel set ups that were well done and looked good. However, I still decided to go with chrome.
