Come on folks!
I bought a 2015 Convertible 2LT M7 Chrome Wheels Silver/Black new in December of 2015. I loved and babied the car. I just had to have a new Grand Sport so I found a new Silver/Black Grand Sport in a dealership in New Jersey. Schumacher Chevrolet made me a great deal on a car they had in stock. I shipped my 2015 to New Jersey in September with only 7,000 tender miles. They still have the car and I would love to know the car goes to a good home (preferably to a forum member). They are almost down the price that I traded for and if you are interested contact them for a great deal. They are really nice people and will take good care of you. If you do buy it let me know because I would love to be in touch with the next lucky person to own it.
Thanks
Thanks

How did they happen to give you a quote for your car without seeing it and what was the shipping cost of the old car to New Jersey and what was the shipping cost of the new car back from New Jersey to Texas?

Good Old Denville
Grew up in Jersey including many years in Montville; used to go the back way to Denville via Taylortown Rd past the Aircraft Instrument
Factory (forget it's name). Probably wouldn't recognize it now, sorry for the stroll down memory lane.....

So, I saw the new car on the internet and called them. They were interested in a trade so I sent pics of mine and told them what I wanted for it. We negotiated and I got the number of difference that made me happy. I shipped my car to them at a cost of about $800 and I flew up to New Jersey and they picked me up at the airport. I picked up my new car and had a pleasant trip home. I had to get the oil changed on the way and even stopped at the Corvette Museum. Great weather all the way and enjoyed the whole experience. Dealers will deal with you on your car if they want to sell their car!

In love that story Morton and glad you got the GS..hopefully the salesman will contact you when it’s sold. That car must’ve been special..I know the feeling.
I traded a 91 Buick back in the day and it was a great car. the dealer sold it to a local guy and a few days later I saw him at a stop light, we chatted a minute and I told him a little more about car.. turns out I had an extra set of keys for the car and met him at the dealer and gave him the keys. I still miss that Buick. Enjoy your GS 😁

I paid in the very low $60s (-20% off MSRP) in Nov. '17 for a new 2017 Stingray 3LT, M7 Convertible with MSRC, and FE2 option. Is that asking price such a great deal, all things considered?
M7 convertibles, aren't big sellers anywhere. Mine was 15 months on the lot. However, it was exactly what I was looking for.

In the old days they called it a " Bird Dog Fee ". Sending a customer in to buy a car. If they purchased a car the manager sent you a twenty dollar bill.
Hard to phantom someone buying a new car, trading it halfway across the country , gets the must have version happily driving away .............. NOW so concerned about the one he swept out the door months ago. I totally understand your first car, the 62 rebuilt from scratch, a big block power house asphalt burner ................. but not an average 15 one sees on every corner. C-7s are so popular even in my small town. I would expect the paperboy to show up in one someday. There like M & M s in every color parked three deep in the mall. Car shows have no less than 8-10 and in their own location.
If your the owner that " truly can't let go " I can understand. Follow a personal log, its city location, and an option to purchase in a specific range of years. Good luck.

.. 19"-20" wheels & Z51 spoiler. Perhaps the Black Z51 wheels as well. Which was exactly what I wanted. A non-Z51 base wet sump engine Stingray. Optioned with MSRC & FE2.

FE2 is simply the designation for magnetic selective ride control on a non-Z51 C7.
