We are jacked up about going again. (7 yrs in a row) Although the Corral is always sold out, I scored the Grassroots Motorsports hospitality tent a few years ago and we’ve been parking there ever since. What a great place to enjoy the race.
I had tickets and Hotel reservations for the Rolex 24, but a good friend's daughter is getting married that weekend in Chicago of all places, since I've known her since she was born, the race takes a back seat to the Wedding. So instead of taking a flight to sunny Daytona Beach this weekend, we'll be taking a flight to snowy, cold and windy Chicago. I'll try again next year, but I do have Corral tickets for the 12 Hours of Sebring in March, I think this will be either 8 or 9 years in a row, they put on a great show there.
In addition to the fact I just simply can't watch a race that doesn't include John Hindhaugh and Jeremy Shaw....I think I need that accent to add to the excitement...lol. The US broadcasts suck without those guys.
Does anyone know the streaming restrictions? I'm guessing IMSA TV does not work in the U.S. due to the NBC contract... I'm in Japan and wondering if it will stream here.
Yes, IMSA TV is blocked in the US because of the NBC contract. NBCSN is broadcasting most of the race, but there are few blocks where they will drops it, and then it's being streamed on the NBC Sports app, which is free.
