Good work guys! Assume you would want one on the passenger side as well?

I was wondering have you had a chance to drive at night and wondering if the loss of the auto dimming feature has any noticeable/negative affects?

Having seen the view first-hand, the mirror looks great. It's a definite safety enhancement.

Well done, Chip!

Never really noticed a blind spot but also never felt quite as comfortable with the mirror views as I did in my C6.

Yes, the last hour or so...

Hard to tell for me because my windows are 20%

I'll have to check it out with the window down...

Regards

We positioned the two cars above so that my C7 was exactly in the usual blindspot. Chip's prototype mirror completely eliminated it, and as you can see from the visible fender on his car, it wasn't even adjusted to optimal position.

Had to look up aspheric. Learn something (even at advanced age) every day. Looks good but also wonder about night driving.

Interested.
When the drivers side mirror is adjusted optimally for most larger vehicles on the road, it definitely leaves a blind spot for smaller vehicles, and most especially for motorcycle lane splitters.
This looks perfect.
I just ordered some round stick on's, but I think I'll hold off installing if these are close and reasonably priced.

2 questions .
1) Is it glass
2} Any idea on pricing

1) Its a Glass Mirror
2) TBD - but I don't think anyone will fall off a chair...

Chip,

Please post your installation photos of what all you had to do to remove the old one and to install the new mirror.

Approximately how much will you be selling these for?
