had a car this morning sneak up beside me with no lights on at 630am, completely disappeared in the blind spot and I have my mirrors kicked way out to see most of the blind spot... last second I saw his bumper about 2 feet from my door...

Having nearly been killed three times from the lack of blind spot detectors I'll be in with the mirrors! FYI, I checked into electronic BSD's and installed they were nearly $1400. That being said and not wanting to sound arrogant I'm in regardless of cost. Put me on the notification list please. By the responses it looks like you'll have to order a bunch of these things!
