How do these work at night? Has that been tested. If you expand the view, I am betting more headlights are getting directed into your face.

No more so than the passenger side, which is not auto-dimming. Aspheric design diffuses the reflected light.

There will be more points of light but less intensity of light.
Instead of all the light being reflected directly as by a flat mirror, light is being sent in many directions by the curved surface. This is why objects look further away than they actually are.

...a thousand points of light. Who said that?

One note: Make sure these lens are designed so that the auto-down-during-reverse function will not make them scrape paint on the interior of the mirror housing!

That could happen, if the new lens + adhesive is thick enough, and there is minimal clearance around the edge vs the inside of the mirror housing.
Somehow I don't think it will happen, but...

It is exactly the same size as the OEM mirror

I have FULL range, up and down, left to right and no scraping

You can not even tell it is on there...

True story

My wife took my Vette out today, when she got back, she did not mention the
MGW or the new Handkraftd Steering wheel

but

She did say, I like the mirror thing, it works great

Chip

No, the reason I asked if he was joking was because this is for the driver's side mirror. And, on my car at least, that doesn't go down when backing. Unless there's an option I don't know about...

- If I'm not mistaken I saw the option for both mirrors to tilt in reverse in the settings of my ZR1. And...I want the mirrors on BOTH sides. Symmetrical visibility is better.
