Default 1/20/19 Ex Pro Driver gets new ELB Z06, 130+ Barn Find pics*Mike Furman@Criswell*****

~I can always tell when Winter is past half way done because my phone lights up with Corvette factory orders etc. Most Corvette owners are alike in that sense, for the ones that
live in a 4 season area where Winter hinders taking the family Corvette out for a spirited run. From mid March thru November it's good to have your Corvette ready and available
to drive, it's therapy. For the Corvette folks that can drive year round...I'm envious. I am not a fan of Winter for several reasons but someday I'd like to know how it feels to be able to
drive my Corvette every day, just because and for no particular reason...This past week on my Corvette Furman Facebook page I posted up pictures of the first 43 years of Chevrolet
Corvette Dealer Brochures. I have a complete set of original Corvette brochures from 1953-2019 and I like to use them for informational purposes. I also post up videos/pictures of some of
my weekly deliveries on this Corvette Furman FB page, so take a look sometime. If you'd like to talk about a new or used Corvette I have 150+ available, call my desk direct line 301-212-4420 or
email mfurman@criswellauto.com. Check out my Corvette dedicated web site CorvetteFurman.com ~I deal in High Volume not high profit!
~Todays quote on referrals...
"Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends." - Walt Disney

...I appreciate any and all referrals. Thank you!

~
Ray “Buzz” Fyhrie of Davie, FL had heard of me thru the Corvette Internet circles that we both travel in and I wouldn’t be surprised if we met back during the 80’s at Konner CHEVROLET. Buzz was a famous race car driver and I included some pics of what he sent me this week for my Corvette memorabilia collection. Buzz even sent me his purchase order of his 1968 Corvette that he bought brand new, MSRP $5,100!
Buzz ordered a Fully loaded Elkhart Lake Blue with Kalahari 2019 Z06 Cpe with the following option list: 3LZ Pkg, microfiber insert Comp Seats, transparent roof panel, visible carbon fiber ground effects, Satin black full length race stripes, body color vents, carbon fiber instrument panel, Auto transmission, Z07 performance Pkg, Red seat belts and Black Machined groove wheels. This week Plycar Trucking will bring Buzz his new ride.

~
Joe L. Of Wayne, New Jersey contacted me 10 days ago about buying a new Grand Sport from my inventory. I gave him a sight unseen trade in value for his 2014 Camaro Convt and we agreed on a deal. This past Friday was the best day weather wise so I came in on my day off to make the switch. Joe and his son Michael left Northern New Jersey at 6:30am and arrived at 10:25 and I had them headed North to their home in under 40 minutes!! Joe picked out a Shadow Gray Metallic 2019 Grand Sport Corvette Cpe with 1LT Pkg, Auto trans and carbon flash badge Pkg. I text them on the way home and Joe was enjoying the smooth ride of his 5th Corvette! Here is a letter that he sent my GM and GSM... "I picked up my 2019 Grand Sport Corvette earlier today and love it! This is my fifth Corvette and first from Criswell. Successful Companies say “our people are our greatest asset”, with that in mind my entire decision to drive 8 hours round trip and buy from Criswell centered around the expertise and professionalism of Mike Furman.
I shopped three dealers, including the largest which is significantly closer for me, being a New Jersey resident. There sales rep was ok but not terribly interested in a dialog or really talking Corvette “inside baseball”. Mike was patient, efficient, diligent and genuinely friendly. He won my business and it was great meeting him in person today! Criswell I trust already recognizes his value but I wanted to share my positive experience.
Your dealership was very clean, inviting and I was impressed with the new technology in place with finance when completing those onerous and voluminous forms. Best and have a super 2019!" Joe L. Wayne, NJ

Joe and his son Michael.

Back home in under 4 hrs. Joe was thrilled by the quality of the paint on his 2019 GS, especially under his garage lights!
--------------------------------------
~Others that left the yard...

My Golf club friends Bob and Freda picked up a new 2019 Tahoe LT yesterday.

~Received a great letter from my Indiana customer that bought a C7R from me and now a ZR1..."Hi Mike, I just have to say, you have the best job in America! It sure agrees with you...to have been doing this for 40+ yrs, you still look like a kid. So many of us really appreciate you and what you do for us. I had my ZR1 wrapped with Xpel Ultimate followed by 9 coats of Ceramic Pro 9H and a single coat of Ceramic Pro Light. I also had the windows tinted dark. I think it turned out great!" Richard B. Greenfield, Indiana

~The Frank Class Corvette Barn Find and throwback section. Please post up which picture(s) is your favorite. Frank would always tell me his favorite...and since he owned over
50 Corvettes in his lifetime...I enjoyed hearing his view. Frank bought a new Corvette from me each March for 5 years straight before he passed away. Franks first new Corvette he bought was
a 1957...which he still owned til the end.

Thanks for another great week of photos Mike.
I too really like the ad for the '67 but I really can't imagine taking a SWC to the ski slopes. Obviously, someone believed it was appropriate.

THanks for another great batch of Sunday morning photos. Hard to pick a favorite among them, but the red C2 with the black convertible top takes the cake for me. Runner up is tail lamp shot of the red C3.

I had my 2017 Stingray out for a 150-mile jaunt yesterday with my girlfriend and got it back inside my garage about five minutes before the rain started. Whew! Have a great Sunday, sir!!
