Burning Brakes
I had never owned a Corvette, As an adult, was never really interested in buying one.
My first decent car was a 1965 Mustang Vert. 289 3 spd.
Followed by a brand new 1971 Datsun 240 Z 6cyl 4 spd
Then came marriage, family, a mortgage, College Tuition and a long succession of boring, forgettable, compact, low cost 4 cyl. automatic, commuter specials.
Finally got back into the game with my 2003 factory supercharged Mustang Cobra 32 v DOHC 6 spd.
Loved that car and never expected to sell it.
Saw the new C7 and changed my mind. Decided I needed one more fun car in my life while I could still enjoy it. So sold the Cobra and ordered my first , Corvette; a 2016 Z51 7 spd
I occasionally miss my mostly track prepped Cobra (495/468 SAE wheel). but the Corvette has taken me places, the Cobra just couldn't go comfortably.
It's a keeper, for sure.

Nope. My first was (is) a C5 Convertible. Original Owner and purchased new the summer of 2004.
Now I have the 2019 C7 Z06 Coupe.
They play well together.

It's my first. One of my college roommates, once successful, bought a new C4, then later a new C5. Though tempted by my own C5, my better half "reminded" me that we would have two kids about to take driver's ed in our household. The Great Recession and the kid's college tuition then ruled out a C6. Here we are today, in a 2018 GS, happy as a clam.

I have loved corvettes since a young age. Had an LT1 Camaro in high school and loved it. Finally at a point in my life where I was able to buy a vette as my daily driver. 2014 Stingray.

I had my first C4 at age 44.
I had a new C5 at 47.
Got my 2018 GS C7, almost one year ago at this time at 64. I'm now counting the days until retirement next month so I can finally put some miles on it (just pushed 2,200 on the odometer last week).
I'm hoping this won't be the last one. But, truth be told, I didn't think I'd get another one after the C5.

Yes first vette
My 17 is my 1st Vette and 1st GM product in almost 30 years. Last gm vehicle I owned was. 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24.
Blew the engine at 40k and switched to Fords
After seeing my neighbors 2014 in action I pulled the trigger last month and visited the local Carmax . Very happy so far with style and power.
