Even so, to help prevent the bolster problem, I ordered a SandyEggo Design (CF vendor) seat cover. A bit of seat insurance and the designs are pretty sweet.
that precedure is fine if you can open the door fully.

Seat bolster wear is certainly not exclusive to C7. In fact, any car that's driven much with high bolster sports seats is going to show wear unless great care is taken when entering and exiting the car.

It is exclusive among vettes though, as the C5 & C6 have no bolstering

I know several people who have had the same wear as well. A couple are businessmen who NEVER wear jeans in their Vettes.
My dealer told me to wait until just before my 3 year warranty is up then he will replace the seat back. I also put a 5 year on the seats for any kind of damage

Friend of mine has a 2012 ZR1. Zero comparison between their lateral support and the C7 seats. Not close.

C7. Slipping around all over the place in the C6 ZR1. Then again, Bernie is a crazy *** driver, so that was some of it.

Perchance, did you mean right leg first?

I put 48k on my stingray and never saw anything like this. Doesn't seem like an improper use thing, I constantly got in my car the way that guy in the video said not to and never saw this. More likely just GM doesn't use material that is that durable or that consistent in quality. Some cars get it and some dont?

GM are replacing my driver seat back - red - because the bolster is worn and the red has gone - under warranty. The adjacent leather on the side and front of the bolster areas are not worn so I think its a faulty piece/strip inset there. If they hadn't then I would have had it dyed.

I have 15k miles and its a 2019 2LT with adrenaline red

Normally I would replace my car at three years however Chevrolet stopped building a car that I am interested in. The problem isn’t the location of the engine. The design doesn’t appeal to me not to mention there is no manual transmission.

I couldn't find any for the C7's. Can you tell me where you got yours?

gosh - trying to remember - had these for a while. Heck, I may have had these on my 911, then C6 and now C7. Auto chaps brand.
i know on my C7 the fit is a bit tougher, but now that I’ve used them they’ve molded well. They’re very durable and stretch. Definitely doing their job.
i know amazon has them and of course various vette accessory stores.
