Not as menacing as that rabbit with the 12 lb. sledgehammer though . <
I thought about putting the red hash marks on the front fender, what do you all think, all black or hash it ??
Thank you,
Rich K ( Vette Ski )

Been THINKING about it for 2 weeks, the fact that I haven't purchased them off e-bay yet is, all black she stays. The chrome wheels are just the right contrast.

Getting there. Actually hoping they transport *really* slow from Bowling Green...still quite winter-ish up here. The weekly e-mail notification of status is kinda nice though...

Awesome! Looks great!
Can't wait to read your impressions, although I have a pretty good idea what a lot of your commentary will be.

Esoteric is doing the wrap, window tinting and wheel coating: https://www.esotericdetail.com
Great bunch of guys, have been an unreal help as I learned detailing stuff during my DIY ceramic coating adventures. Looking forward to seeing how life with PPF compares to life with coatings.
Thanks!
Alas, being my wifes toy, my commentary might be limited to "I got to pull the car out, wash it and pull it back in the garage today!"
Looking for a 'cheater coin' as who gets to take it down the 1/4 mile first will be decided by a coin flip when track opens this Spring.
I'm so oppressed

I was looking to buy from a dealer Esoteric (also near Columbus, OH) is familiar working with so when vehicle arrived, it would be minimally prepped as necessary for the trip from dealer to Esoteric.
Rick Conti from Coughlin is also familiar with working with Esoteric and I did e-mail him when getting near time to actually place order.
In the end though, I was already familiar with the folks at my purchasing dealer, had gotten to know them a bit as I first initiated this escapade back in Sept. 2018, and had a lot of fun going back and forth with them in the ensuing months deciding what/when to place the order. I just kinda dug the 'vibe' I got from dealing with them.
Final numbers were comparable to what I woulda got from Coughlin, near as I could tell from their website; (never ended up getting connected to Coughlin on a one to one basis), but for me and this adventure, it wasn't strictly about every last penny anyway if the deal wouldn't have been competitive...but it turned out it was so bonus points there.
Wanted to have some fun putting together final deal, delivery, etc. and I just got a real good sense of comeradarie and commonality with everyone I dealt with at the dealer I went with. Dunno, just liked 'em a lot after getting to know them.
This car is 100% toy, totally unnecessary and exists solely to bring a smile to our faces in all aspects; wanna look back and smile when thinking about every single part of the process including the purchasing process. Dealer I chose was the one who I felt could best insure that the spec'g/ordering/delivery would be full of laughs and good memories, both past, present and future.
Only time will tell how that plays out in reality but feeling pretty good about it so far, no regrets. Maybe kinda a corny/goofy approach to it but I can live with that.
