Default Need reccomendation enclosed car transport (OH to NY)

It's kind of a mine field out there - a lot of this goes through brokers and companies that have horror stories out there.

Just drive it. Can't be more than 820 miles.

I used Plycar for my transport. Some people said they had difficulties with there dispatch department. My transport was flawless. Intercity, Passport, and Plycar are a few I here on the forum

Weather is rough right now.

Low profile tires.

Snow belt - not a good combination

Recently had Intercity deliver my new Stingray from MacMulkin to Wisconsin. Flawless transaction and excellent communication with both company and driver.

We used Mike Furman’s Plycar referral at Criswell Chevrolet in Maryland to facilitate the Enclosed Transport of our 2019 XC60 T6 Volvo from Eugene, Oregon to Prescott, Arizona. Was picked up within a week of initial contact and delivered to us 3 days later. Went without a hitch. Nick at Plycar West Coast was an incredible communicator and hand holder. Even checked in with us 30 minutes after the car was delivered at our home.

BTW, Nick’s last name is Pliaconis...... the family owners and name sake of Plycar Enclosed Transport Carriers.

Spend as much money as possible with a highly visible and reputable transport company. Buy as much insurance as possible. If your going to do it, do it well!

I was researching this as I was getting a new continental shipped to CA, what a huge headache if you try to figure out who’s who. Just go with the better known guys and don’t oook back. Intercity, Reliable, Plycar, Horseless Carriage to name a few. I also used Sunday Auto Transport years ago and it was flawless (enclosed)

And about to get worse. Intercity is good. The others that people mention are good too. Even in the summer time I'll have mine transported next time. The drive from MacMulkin to Wisconsin was pretty long. Never again.

InterCity should be able to give you a good rate on a backhaul

I've used Intercity, Horseless, and a broker. Intercity!

I used PyCar and had good results. I think you'd be ok with any of the top tier carriers (InterCity, Reliable, PlyCar, etc...)
