Upgraded from C4 to C7 2016 Z51
Hello y’all!
I just recently bought this 2016 Z51 in metallic shark grey with only 3800 miles on it. I previously had a 92 LT1 for several years that I used to love to tinker around with and had intentions of doing a lot of performance mods on but recent health issues forced me to change my life’s priorities and decided it was time to enjoy more driving and less wrenching. My old 92 had the primitive version of the Z51 of that year and when I found the new one for the price it was an easy decision to make.
I was recently diagnosed with cancer in November and just lost my wife of 19 yrs to colon cancer in July. So it’s time to enjoy what I have while I can!

Sorry to hear about your wife.
I picked up a Z51 as well and you are going to LOVE it! I was also diagnosed with cancer not long ago and my wife said to stop looking at them and get yourself one, so I did. Life is short, so we have to make the most of the time we have. All the best with your new ride.

Your C4 and your C7 are both gorgeous for sure...Im a huge fan of both models. Im so sorry to hear about your wife... Maybe you can get a personalized license plate with her name or a word that represents her - so that way she'll always be with you when driving your C7...

Glad to see your taking life into your hands. I agree you only live once, live it to the fullest! I had a tumor on my kidney the size of a golf ball and they took out my entire kidney (that was over 12 years ago). A friend at work was in dire straights and doing chemo told the worst, now cancer gone and he is enjoying retired life. Mntal toughness and attitude go hand in hand with beating it. Hope you have many enjoyable days with the car and welcome to the family.

They had a promo where they were giving away a big green egg mini max if you bought a car in January which I sold and used the money to buy a Vararam cold air intake

So sorry to hear of your Wife and your health issues as well. We were supposed to be all set seven years ago and start "Our time" and my Wife has been dealing with a chronic mess since then.
Best of luck to you and enjoy the ride.
