Removing Stripes & Hash Marks?
I am looking at a slightly used White 19 GS, unfortunately for me it has the twin factory stripes & GS hash stripes. I do not like them, and it will be a deal breaker for me if they cannot be removed without damage to paint or leave any marks. Has anybody got experience in this?

Woman's Job
You need your wife's hair dryer/blower and a double dose of patience. google the removal job and you'll find a hundred You Tube videos on how to do it. Me? I'd tell the dealer to remove them as part of the pre sale delivery prep. They screw it up, their dime fixes it.

It is at a used Car dealer & I have the guy beat down so that he may not wash it.

Good luck making the deal.

Start at a corner, lift and peel. Heat from the sun or a hair dryer helps, but not necessary. Since it’s a ‘19, you will not have to worry about any fading and the vinyl will still be pliable. I’ve removed and replaced stripes in the past and it’s easy.

Do it yourself. Spending money to pull vinyl is completely unnecessary.

Thanks for all the input, It eases my mind that it is a do-able thing with out damage to paint. Dealer told me yesterday he would do it if it was going to be a deal breaker...
