Why are these 2 paddle shifters in the manual C7, I know they turn on activate rev match feature but why 2 of them?

I dont DD my car, only bc of snow and ice, I have a 2001 4Runner for that. However, for those grocery runs, short weekend trips and such this helps.

Rola trunk organizer, but air this puppy out for a while before putting it in the car.

Started with 4 miles on my 2016 Z51 now have 37000 showing I drive everyday and take on road trips. love driving it it holds up great good gas mileage yes driving everyday and parking you are liable to get more door marks
Yes if some one parks close it was hard to get in and out of it ... SO I instaled a vertical door kit from dream car customs and now have all the opening and clearence to get my feet in and out of the car plus I get lots of admirers when the door goes up... but yes door dings do happen.. I've had to have mine repaired once already but it's worth it why put the things in a garage and treat like art work ? driving like they're meant to be driven yes! 37000 smiles on my Z51 right now...

I bought mine to DD then started making it into another trackday car and find myself shopping C5 verts as an actual DD. Going to be very keen to see what the C8 brings.

One quick question, is getting in and out a big pain, I am told to put *** in first and then legs, now I never owned a sports car before so wondering if this will be an issue as I always owned sedans, will I get used to it fast?

It’s a low slung sports car with bolstered seats, it’s certainly harder to get in and out of than family sedan, but it’s not horrible. You want hard to get in/out of, that’s my 91 C4 ZR-1. I actually think the C6 was easier than the C7, but I’ve got sport seats in my 2015, which have bigger bolsters.

My first Vette was an 88 C4 Im sure there were plenty of laughs watching me learning to get in and out of it. When I got the 96 I was much better and it was easy. The C6 was a breeze and I find he C7 just as easy most of the time I sit in the seat then swing my legs in

I stick in a leg, plant my butt, swing in the other leg. I'm 6'3". I don't want to rotate/grind on the seat surface, tear up the bolster, etc. Good to experiment. My C5 is also a bit lower than a stock height C7.

I've enabled the 'easy exit' feature. With this, the seat is as far back as possible and the steering column is all the way tucked in. Even with this, I try to plant my butt all the way to the front as possible so the lumbar support isn't in the way of my hips when I pivot and swing my legs into the car.

AT 6'2" I do the same exact thing to get in

6'3" here as well... do the same. Step in with right foot, sit down/in, then pick up left leg/foot. Try not to rotate/grind on the seat as that's what wears them out fast. The C7 is tighter only because the left side of the dash wraps around more and has that point because they left the HVAC vent in the dash, vs. the C5 which had it in the door panel.

I'm 5'-9" and fairly athletic/flexible and still find the C7 a real pain in the *** to enter/exit especially if you want to do so to avoid scuffing up your side bolster. I've often wondered how very tall, overweight and/or owners with leg/joint/back issues put up with getting in/out of a C7 every day.
On the flip side, once you get in they are very comfortable and extremely pleasing to drive, but glad I have other daily drivers so I can reserve my C7 for only when I really want to drive an amazing and exhilarating sportscar.

I am an electrician and an estimator for my company. (I'm one of the owners and estimating is one of my many responsibilities.) My work vehicle has to be more "tool friendly" and also something that doesn't make my customers think that I "charge too much".

The Vette is nice for weekends or weekdays when I'm not in front of customers. Since my primary work vehicle (a Prius) is like my office, it's nice to have something else to drive on the weekend that I enjoy.
