Z51 gloss black rim damaged
I hit my Z51 rim on a curb going about 15-20 mph, such a stupid mistake. I’m hoping for some guidance and figured this was the best place to ask.
Im in the Orlando, FL area, and I took the car to Dr.Rim repair today. They quoted me at $200 and said they’d have to keep it for a week since the rim is powder coated. At this point I’m honestly considering just bringing it to the dealership and paying for a new rim.
What would the folks here suggest? For now I’m going to search the for-sale section on the forum to see if anyone is selling a Z51 rim (rear). Thanks in advance for the help!!

Yep, I definitely need a new tire! Lost a good chunk out of it. Luckily it was time for new tires anyway, the rears tend to go pretty fast for me lol.

Since you have to replace the tires I would just go ahead and get a new wheel as well. Get the old damaged one repaired at your convenience and you will have a spare in case of another oops.

I'm not talking about the lug nuts, but the barrel where the lug nut attached the wheel to hub. Is it not painted inside there? Looks like a wire brush was used to remove the paint in the lug barrels. Actually I can see a bit of overspray in one of them.
This could have been a blessing in disguise, get them all powder coated and never deal with the paint coming off again.

A good repair facility can fix that wheel to where it is just like new. Certainly a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

In that case... buy a tire and call it a day. Screw fixing the wheel, buy a touchup pen (carbon flash color) fill it in and trade away. The dealer can fix it if they want, that's all part of prepping a vehicle for resale for them.
