Default How much would you pay for this GS?

Hello,
I have managed to find a pre-owned 17 GS M7 2LT with 3k miles for sale. Vehicle options are Z07 package, PDR, Comp seats, carbon flash ground effects package, GS heritage package, CF interiors, and some other options. Car stickered for 85k.
Its listed now for 60K. What do you guys think? Is that a good deal for this car?

I think so. You aren't going to get a new one optioned like that for 60K Should still have bumper to bumper so you can't really go wrong.

Do you think it is a good deal?

price is good this car should sell for around 58k to 62k according to kbb. Carmax has a similar 1LT for 57k so for the extras PDR and ground kit you are in good shape..

But please realize for just a few grand more you get a new 17 3LT vert ..like the one below..

https://www.prioritychevrolet.com/Ve...-VA/3076462813

or a manual

https://www.caseychevy.com/VehicleDe...-VA/3376101363

Good luck and enjoy..I can imagine how hard it is to hunt for and capture just what you want.

It's a good deal IF the color combination and features (Z07 and comp seats, for example) appeal to YOU.

The price is right, however, I would look for a like equipped Z06.

yeah i think this is a good deal. When buying used cars, fear not what you know, be very afraid of what you don't know about the car

I completely agree, so if I were you, I'd look for a leftover 17 or 18 model. You get the full warranty when you buy, you should get a good discount and nobody but you has owned it.

The car is gonna do some regular track duty. the GS is a better track car compared to the Z06, IMO. Otherwise, would have gone for the Z06.

Which is exactly why I bought new. For not much more than a used one, I got a car that wasn't two years old, with an unknown past. Mine was bought @ -20%, back of MSRP. That's just the risk you take buying used. I'd still advise a Z06. No reason not to since you're looking for a deal.

There's no reason not to buy a used Z06 for similar money. You didn't state "track duty," until now.

Sounds like a decent deal to me. Good luck if you decide to purchase it.

You probably don't want carbon ceramic brakes then. While they're lighter and have much better fade resistance, consumable cost is insane.

Yup. The key word is track. These don't last long on the track. Street driving they last a long time.

So then, picking up on the fear what you don't know about the car, and since you're going to use it on track, is this a car that's already been there to your eyes? Would that be a red flag to you? Sounds pretty good from what we know now.

I'm not really sure why you'd want them for street use. Iron brakes are way more than what you'd ever use on the street. I don't think I could overheat them on the street if I tried.
I've never driven them on the C7, but on other cars they can be noisy on the street too.
