Here is the lifting points for the C7

https://extremeonlinestore.com/blogs...ur-c7-corvette

The number 3 Red is where you need a block or puck to lift without damaging the skirts

Holy crap I hate all the electronics in modern cars. This shouldn't be happening.

For the record though, 12v applied to the starter batt post is a winner.

While I find this sad and funny at the same time it reminds me that I have never even tested my key on my car for the hatch I better do that this spring.

So if you can get the rear hatch open on a dead C7, you climb into the trunk then you crawl thru the car to get to the hood release? If that's the case, I'd sell the POS. Please tell me that's not true.

Why do you want to get to the hood release? The battery is in the rear compartment on the C7. When you open the rear hatch, there is a small pull cable on the driver's side wheel well cover to open the door manually. Then you can pull the hood release.

Have you read the owners manual or own a C7 the battery is at the right rear corner of the under the hatch plus there is a a cable to pull that would open the door to get access to the hood release for whatever reason

You can have all the apps in the world, but if the car battery is dead, none of them mean anything.

Although, over the years, both C6 and C7 forums have had plenty of people who have done this and then posted about it. lol
