You can't go wrong with a SWC. The black/red is a very sharp color combo. Go for it.

Enjoyed the story and pictures, especially of the uncle and nephew and their '57 Corvette.
The SWC looks amazing in a Black & Red color combo. One of my favorites is a Black and Red '67 427 with knock offs and side pipes and a red stinger hood.
Throw back picture choice for this week...

IDK Mike, i feel like you'll own a C8 before a SWC seeing how you already own a C2. plus i heard from a good source the new ME car is a "must have" from someone who has seen it unwrapped.
the classic pics this week were easy for me.. Just something about the transition from the C2 to the C3 just mesmerizes me. on it's own the C2 is classy and timeless. then enter the radical (at the time) styling of the C3 it must have hit people back then like the first time people heard rock n roll..
love this angle.

The smile on Tom G's face says it all. And BTW, it would not do for me to live just a few minutes away from you folks. I would stay in trouble with my dearest. Thanks for another fine post Mike. And good luck finding that perfect SWC. Dreams do come true to those that believe.

I can’t blame the buyer if the new GS for having a big smile on his face. He just bought a fantastic car.

My first Corvette was a White 1974 Coupe L48 4 speed. Gone but not forgotten. Loads of memories looking at this picture. I bought it on June 21, 1978.

Mike, I shopped Hawthorne Chevy, Malcolm Konner Chevy, Konner Chevy and the Want Ads but found it in the Bergen Record classifieds. It was a mint one owner car so I jumped on it. It took some time to find one as well kept. Had it taken another month and 5 days I might have been your first customer.

Pic circa 1985 at Konner Auto.

I took this picture right after I bought it, in late June 1978.
