Dog in Vette

Roxy, the black Lab, is a wee bit too energetic for the 'vette. She runs back and forth from passenger to driver's side to check things out when in the trucks back seat. Ginger, bless her heart, is too old to enjoy car rides anymore. She is 13+.

Maddie loves Corvette rides, or sitting in the car while I detail it.

Jerome is 98 lbs. and the only issue we have is that he has to hunch his head down to clear the top of the windshield. Probably too cramped with the top on, but ymmv. I have a 4knines seat cover, and no issues at all. A little drool, but cleans right up with a little diluted Nature's Miracle.

Lots of good looking dogs here. Makes me wish I wasn't allergic to them. Enjoy them.

same for my 110 lb dobie. Back and forth in the back seat, then to the front passenger seat. Rinse, repeat. Have to open all the Windows in my f150 no matter how cold it is. No way that monster is getting in my vette

I am hoping to have a calm enough dog to take on rides in the Vet but you never know. Lots of great dog pictures keep them coming.

Nathan loves to ride in the Vette, 12 years old and super-chill. His car seat lets him see out without climbing. Any loose hair vacuums right up. Lost my 10 year old Westie 6 months ago after a long battle with lymphoma. She only got to ride in the Vette a couple times. Not going to miss any opportunities to make memories with Nathan.

Once in a blue moon I will let Ol Smokey ride in the Vette. He's a 70 lb Doodle that barely sheds and he doesn't touch a thing around him. Only drawback is he spits on the dash when he is breathing heavily. I have a terry cloth Vette logo'd seat "towel" that loops over the head rest and keeps scratches off the seats. He has his own vehicle, Audi Allroad wagon with secured space in the back.

My previous beagle got rides in my C6 all the time and sadly only got a few in the C7 in the week he passed. His final ride was in the vette. I am currently fostering a 85lb South American hound who I had to ferry a few places in the C7 while the other car was in the shop. The 85lb barely fit. With the low entry height, vette's make it easy for smaller dogs to hop in. Just lay a towel on the seat and console first.

[QUOTE=ricks327;1598901661]I had a similar situation, got Bailey after the 67 and he loved riding in the car, so much so I nicknamed him the Navigator. He passed before I got the 2017 but he would have rode in it as well. My wife calls the 67 "Bailey's Car". He rides in the 2017 but hangs from the mirror.

Our dogs get to ride in the Vette to go to the Vet......ONLY if the SUV isn't available.

Our dog is part of the reason for the Vette, the Miata was getting too small. Toy Fox Terrier goes with us most anywhere. She especially likes to go for rides where she can see and bark about horses or cows. To each there own.

Jack asks if your dog rides in your VETTE. Take it from me, that's a big "HELL YES!" My dog Daisy was my buddy for cruz'n plus took some long road trips with me in my Vette over the years. She passed a few years ago and I have to say when I"m in my car now, I sorely miss her. For reasons I'll never know, she loved going anywhere and everywhere in my car. We made memories together for sure. Very special. So I recommend putting your pet in your cars every chance you get.
