This is Athena and she weighed 104lbs. Despite her size, she could still curl up in the passenger seat.

I use a wheelchair so it was even more interesting taking my wheelchair apart and putting it in the back - the seat has to fold forward so she'd turn sideways, I'd fold the seat forward and then put the wheels and frame in the back cargo area.

She was bathed every two weeks and her nails were regularly trimmed so no damage to the seats. Being a Dobie, she didn't shed a lot; what she did came right up with an interior vacuum.

Unfortunately I lost her last summer at 5 1/2 years old due to DCM, something European Dobies are predisposed to develop.

I gave her the keys in that picture and she just held them for me......but I could ask for the remote control and she would run into the living room and get it and bring it to me. She would pick up a plastic dish after licking it clean and bring it into the kitchen, I would open the dishwasher door and she would set it in the dishwasher. I had her in a bar one night and people would give dollar bills to her, and she would run behind the bar and give them to the bartender lol. She would carry a bucket of feed for the horses. She would also carry in mail and groceries that were in the plastic bags. Not much that little girl wouldn't do to please.

Just keep his nails trimmed.
Tell him "up up" and he will jump right in.
That's what I do.

I love when arrogant asshats tune in to look down their noses at the pleabs. To most of us Corvette owners, our Corvette IS our Maybach.

I wouldn't have any problems with my dog riding in the Corvette. I just don't drive the car.... He rides in all my other vehicles. I've got more tied up in the Camaro and the Ram than I would in a base Corvette.

Our now 12 + year old **** A Poo has only ridden in the C7 a couple of times, ON my wife's lap, with a big beach towel across her and the center console. The ride was from our home to the kennel as we were on the way to Corvettes at Ocean City, MD the past 2 years.

Otherwise........ NO, our non shedding dog does not get to ride in the Vette.

This pic was from our '10 GS years ago. Again, short rides, on my wife's lap.

I lost my chessie years ago to her eating apples from a tree in front yard. quick PSA apple seeds have cynide that will harm your pet if they eat enough.
If she was still around she would ride along great guard dog!!!

Yes I do - Cooper rides with me to Coffee and Cars and errands to Home Depot and Lowes - we howl together as we cruise down the road - Chip

Don't own a dog, but have taken my cats in the car quite often.

Mostly, on purpose, but at least four times, they jumped in wanting to go w/o my prompting.

Hell no! He's perfectly fine riding in my pick up! Plus he's 95 lbs!

Here's a bonus pick of him defending his "sister" from her mean dad (Me).

Too bad to lose her so young. BTW, it looks like her service might have been Marine Corps.

I was in the Marine Corps - always wanted to get her a Tuefel Hunden patch for the vest for people "in the know."
