The code I found is WA-622D. No H. Different code.

I don't believe we are as close to the C8 taking over for the C7 as many seem to think and the adding of two new colors to the C7 line just strengthens that opinion for me.

Since there have only been 6 model years of the C7 it is not late in the run. They will be making the C7 for years whether or not the predicted/imagined C8 materializes

I think a large number of people on this forum would disagree with your thinking on the continuation of the C7. Of course, no one knows for sure at this time, but the last C7 tribute model shown in Europe might give one a hint it will be done.

LOL, You beat me to it. It seems like GM has to change the Gray color no matter how popular each of them has been. Good comment

I agree. When the C7 made its debut, the GM execs confirmed that the C7 would not run as long as the C5 (8 years) or the C6 (9 years). If 2019 is the last year, that would make 6 model years of production. If they do decide to make 2020 the last year, that would still be one year less than the C5, however I think this is it. We may see some new colors carry over into late summer production, however I think the C8 debut timeline is based on current C7 inventory. GM needs to sell the existing stock before introducing the new model.

Just a quick blurb.

Heard from a reputable source who has seen these two colors, they will be shown at the Bash. WA-632D, Rapid-1 is a blue, and a rather interesting one at that I'm told.

That was the only chip I could find too for WA-632D.

Looks like metallic Ford Grabber Blue.

Digging this one up with the "information" found on C8 the other day. Both these colors appeared on the ordering sheet. Both these colors still come up for C7 however. Perhaps both C7 and C8 will share them? Both cars will run the same paint shop I'm sure, so it only makes sense.

UPDATE:

GM must read this site more than we think as both colors per my source are pulled from the 2019 Corvette parts catalog color lists.

The names are not the "official" names per say. GM does this quite often. Their paint names that they come up with in the company don't always reflect the marketed name of the paint. For example, Elkhart Lake Metallic's "internal name" is Rhythm and Blues Metallic.

Perhaps we see these colors at Bash?
They are not making the C7 any more. So maybe for the C8.

Do you know if these new colors will replace the 2019 Dark Shadow Gray?

These are new C8 colors... where did those screen shots come from?!?!?!? Very excited that Rapid Blue might be similar to Jetstream from the C6 or Nassau Blue from the C5.

Fully aware. I wish my source could have screen shot the GM EPC (Parts Catalog) as those two colors came up under the 2019 C7 colors listing, catalog group 8.800. They are now gone from there. They were indeed there when I first posted this.
