Default What options should I get??

Preparing to purchase a 2019 GS ragtop Yellow/Black with 2LT plus Nav. What other options would you suggest??
Thinking of getting the performance seats; Battery pack; hood stripe either solid or Jake;Black wheels with Yellow Calipers. Carbon flash side skirts; Z06 grill; etc.
Looking for pros and cons.
Also best place to purchase one I have prices from Kerbeck and Mike They are pretty close.
thanks for your input

No one can tell you what you like, especially when it comes to appearance options. For example, I dislike hood stripes but this does not help you with what you like.

I suggest dropping the batter charger as you an get the same unit for essentially half price elsewhere, albeit without a Corvette logo.

You pretty much have all the options. Some of what you mentioned comes standard on a GS. Suggest checking out MacMulkin - great prices and customer service with no BS!

Options are subjective. Get what you want.

I understand each car is personal but I am looking for input just like you offered about the battery pack. Don't want to order something and when I get it it is not cool
Thanks for the input appreciate it!!

Okay here’s my opinion for what it’s worth....
Performance seats: Not as comfortable to me. Do you like them?
Battery pack: I negotiated for a free one. Maybe you can as well.
Hood stripe: I don’t much like them but it looks okay on a yellow car to reduce some of the yellow. Don’t get me wrong, I like yellow Corvettes.
Black wheels with yellow calipers: Looks good to me on yellow cars.
Side skirts: I don’t care for them. Aren’t they standard on GS?
Z06 grille: Belongs only on a Z06.

Congrats on your new car when you get it. Be sure to post pics.

Order everything you think you might want. Nothing worse than getting your car and having to say, I should have ordered that.

You like black wheels get em. I hate black wheels and think they make the car look dingy. See you get what you like and I get what I like and that is that.

I personally love the competition seats. Do yourself a favour and go find a car on a lot and sit in them. I originally avoided them as I couldn't find one on a lot to inspect so I chose to save the 2k and I assumed they wouldn't be as good as the standard seats for comfort. Boy was I wrong. I love the look of them and they are still quite comfy. My next Corvette will have them.

Stripes, side skirts etc can all be done aftermarket and it will be less expensive then OEM but changing out the seats is a huge pain. Make sure you have checked out both seats, sat in them etc so you have no regrets.

The key ones you picked. The Stage 2 aero option is what I have. It includes full length carbon fiber side skirts and front splitter. Mine is painted carbom flash for $2995. you can get it in visible Carbon Fiber for another $1000.
I also got the got carbon flash badges, EYT option. It's only $100 but depending on your color makes a big difference.
I like my Q8K machined faced aluminum wheels. Pick what you like but had lack on my 2014 and gray on my C6 Z51 and gets old. Loved the Q8K.

Somewhat depends on car color. Pics: My Yellow C6, Red 2014 C7 and current White Grand Sport.

I think stripes on the car would look good especially with all the yellow. I had a velocity yellow 08 and a black stripe front to rear it looked good. My Daytona Orange has the dual carbon flash stripes and i think it looks good breaks up all the orange. I like Chrome wheels but thats your choice. I think PDR comes with Nav but make sure I like it. Try the seats before getting them larger folks like me feel confined in them Enjoy the car when you get it

On the lighter colors, I think the "body colored vents" look fantastic! I would definitely look for some pictures on the internet. The yellow monochrome looks SO good!!!

The “Z06 grille” is the standard grille on the GS. The so called “braces” grille is standard on the Stingray...

Absolutely the bare minimum... since you ask. You've already specified more than I'd ever get, if given a choice. But, ENJOY no matter what you do!!!

Appreciate all the feed back. Didn't realize the Z06 grill is also on the GS. I had the side skirts on my 01 and they looked great. Was wondering about the carbon side skirts, I see some after market ones for 400.00 .Seems low. Wondering about quality.
Thanks Again for the input.!!

You can definitely get the stinger/jake decal cheaper aftermarket rather than ordering it on the car. Good luck with your order - what you have spec'd seems like a great choice.

I added full length Carbon Fiber side skirts to my 2014 Z51, looked and performed great but cost ~$1500 and I had to install by drilling holes in the rocker panels and installing rivets. That stopped all marking of the heavy GM plastic "protection" on the rocker panels by stones that get thrown up from the front tires. I was able to remove the marked, discolored on the edges GM plastic. I also added a carbon fiber splitter with side winglets.

When I ordered my Grand Sport debated getting "quality" side skirts and installing myself. Could have done that for ~$2000 for quality full length carbon fiber skirts and a front splitter painted carbon flash. To do that properly with full length side skirts requires drilling the rocker panels and riveting. Carbon fiber is strong and if you (or more likely your passenger) brush against them getting out) no issue. Decided to get the Stage 2 Aero Option and ordered for $2995 when I ordered the Grand Sport. I watched as the GM Tech at the dealer drilled 13 holes per side and installed rivets to install the GM Stage 2 Aero option. That is included in the option price. Similar to the Carbon Fiber front splitter he also installed.Note the Stage 2 Aero option also includes rear spoiler side extensions. Very happy I got that option.

The Grand Sport comes with 3/4 length plastic side skirts and what some call the plastic front splitter a "poverty splitter." Your choice but I wanted full length side skirts and a "quality looking" front splitter for my Grand Sport. Your money your choice.

For what it's worth, after 2 years, I don't have one mark on my rocker panels OR the opening around the lower rear fender brake duct opening (which some have complained about.) I also removed the heavy GM plastic protection near that brake duct and above it. It quickly discolored on the edges. I also have not invested to expensive "plastic wrap" like 3M Expel, that some have used.
