Loser Noordeloos....
Marc Noordeloos is a douche bag. I guess he needed to improve his "Letters to the Editor" numbers so that Automobile Magazine editors know someone is reading his column and reaching an audience. Soooo he decided to do a dump on the C7. Bad form Noordeloos, bad form......

Look at all the youtube car channels. It's all "Top 5 things I hate about my C7" and stupid **** like that because no one is gonna click on "My 5 most favorite things I like about my C7".
It's the way of the new world.

Did I read the same article? Yea he knocked the vette (a little), and in defense of the critiques the vette has some fit and finish issues. Does that make it bad? Hell No! Over all I thought it was positive, pointed out strong points and flaws while complementing its track abilities.

It is just HIS opinion and there is no surprise that the C7 is not for everyone. That's why they make other sports cars. Those that have a C7 though seem to feel it is a substantial improvement over past generations. Is it perfect, no, but it can hold its own against many more expensive models.

Man, talk about picky...somebody didn't praise the Corvette all the way to the outer edges of space and you folks get your shorts in a wad....
I thought the piece spot on...... six Corvettes in the last 29 years and almost 800,000 miles.... so bash away! I think you guys are hilarious....

What an idiot. Total clickbait. He states "GM needs to use the C8 to wave goodbye to the Russian doll repetitiveness of the past several Corvette generations of the long-serving two-seater", but then goes on and about Porsches which are the sheer definition of repetitiveness
And why does he bash the "ergonomically funky and cheap-feeling cabin"? I don't think it feels cheap at all, and the layout is excellent.
Yet another reason why I no longer subscribe to Automobile magazine

The author is obviously a Porsche Slurper. As fsr as I am concerned the shortcomings he was addressing sounded like he was driving a C6.

Who really cares what some writer feels about the car you ride? There are lots of cars out there and they aren't for everybody. We all have opinions and they differ greatly. My brother loves Porsche and always has and I have never liked the way they look and would never own one. This doesn't make Porsche a good or bad car it just makes it a good car for him and a bad car for me.

Clickbait article title for sure. Whenever I get even close to my C7, I wear a face mask as the smell of the plastic resin is overwhelming even after 4 years.

Well, I will agree when I first sat in my new C7 I was disappointed with the all-important "new car smell". Fair enough. But for the price range I thought the interior was very nice. Sure we could always get better but it was adequate quality and material wise. One thing that does suck and no writer every mentions it is the damn click click of the fuel release when the door handle is pressed. That sounds cheap as hell. And the A/C condensate sizzling on the exhaust smacks of an engineering oversight. Even more annoying is that these two traits hark back to the C6. But ultimately, that is where my list of meaningful misses ends.
For the budget given, Tadge and Co. did an excellent job.

This statement pretty well sums up his argument:
But that positive experience at the track doesn’t make the outgoing C7 Corvette a car I’d recommend unless price-to-performance ratio is your number-one focus
Duh! Isn't that one of the biggest reasons people buy a Corvette? Nice looking, great handling, quick and affordable. If the Ferrari 488 or a GT2 RS was priced around $60K, I'd own one of those instead.
