Open trailer recomemendations C7 wide body
Hi guys, looking for an open trailer to take my z06 to the track. Limited to open due to storage and tow vehicle. Looking for an aluminum that is wide and low enough to fit my car. Would like a tire rack. Looking at trailex 8045 and an ATC. Anyone have any other recommendations? Not easy to find up here in the northeast. I was hoping to find something used over the winter but not having any luck. Now may order new.

My ZR1 is 77 1/2" wide at the front CF splitter. My enclosed featherlite is only 81" between wheel wells. I, too, am looking for recommendations on something with more clearance.

I have no experience with trailers, but a Featherlite 3182 was the direction I was looking at one point... based on this thread:

I have a 3182 and this is the second year I've been towing with it. It's perfect for the z! It's a 20' and if you outfit it with everything it's not cheap but it's money well spent. Here's a photo. Since it was taken I've added a tool box under the tire rack.

I've had an aluminum "Trailer World" from Bowling Green for years. Mine would not quite be wide enough, but they may have other options. When I bought, it was the best price and has always worked well.

Just picked this up. 2017 ATC with tire rack and electric winch. 82in between fenders and 7ft long ramps. Haven’t had my car on it yet as I just picked it up. Pretty pumped to have a second set of wheels with me at the track. Also this allows me to travel to Watkins glen for some track days this year.

Hi Dave, the tire rack came with the trailer. I needed to modify the bar that goes through the wheels to make it work which seemed odd. So happy to have the rack though. Made two trips to the glen this past summer and really is great to have a second set of wheels for those tracks that are a bit of a hike.

Dave, call trailex about this rack. It’s bolt on and it may work for your trailer. They may even make one to size.
