Default Car Hauler Intercity???

I often see Intercity Car hauler mentioned here on the forum. I am wondering how reputable they are? Has anyone had a vehicle transported by them? It's not for my Corvette its for a 51 Crosley Roadster I have for sale and have a buyer that is interested in purchasing it. My location is upstate NY and his location is Keylargo Fla. I figured us Corvette people are very picky with our cars so any input from this forum about car haulers would be creditable. Also, any other haulers with a good reputation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input!

I think they are in the top two but good luck getting them to commit to a date when they will pick the car up. I tried with them and Reliable and was looking at over a month away with no specific date. But if I had my preference I wanted to use them it just did not work out.

No experience with Intercity, but since you asked about others:
Avoid brokers.
Don't use brokers.
No brokers!
Stay away from brokers.

Some research and caution is needed, some companies claim to have their own trucks but also use outside trucks. We had a horrid experience with one of those.

I had both my C5's transported from Indiana to California on separate trips back in 2010 when I was relocating. They did an awesome job. I posted a couple of threads about it.

I used InterCity to transport my 2017 and I would recommend them without the slightest hesitation. My car was delivered without any issues, on time and they kept me advised of it's location and expected delivery time to within 15 minutes all along the way.

The gentleman buying my C7 has booked InterCity. I've heard nothing but good things, but as of now, they have given him a 3 to 5 weeks estimate as to when they can come pick up the Vette and bring it to him...

Another thumbs-up for Intercity. They delivered my '17 Grand Sport in December 2017 from New Jersey (Kerbeck's) to Tampa, FL, and I couldn't be more pleased. Good communication, awesome driver (and his dog, that went with him everywhere he drove!).

Intercity's the best in my opinion. They are of the promise a little and deliver a lot philosophy. The last time I used them they committed to pickup within 2>4 weeks and delivering it 2>5 days after pickup.
Well they picked it up on the 8th day after my placing the order and was delivered it 2 days after pickup. They have always communicated every step of the way, thus totally eliminating the worry.
The other majors I've use are Ok, I just fine Intercity in a league of their own.

Intercity delivered my '19 Stingray from MacMulkin in January along with a load going to auction in AZ. Both companies were top notch to deal with. Excellent communications from both!

I have also heard good things about them. Also Horseless Carriage, Plycar and McCollisters get good reviews. Good Luck..

Use Intercity if you can. They tend to under promise and over produce. A friend had a great experience with a new 2016 Corvette on a coast-to-coast transport. And they're great at communication too.

Used them MANY times and they are great, the problem I have had with them lately is their time line and my time line are way different, they were scheduling months out and most of us only have a week or two window
