Default Borla X pipe 60548 vs 60457

Borla has an X pipe 60548 listed on their site that looks like the discontinued 60457 Doe anyone know the difference??

The 60548 keeps your secondary cats whereas the 60547 deletes them. The EPA was coming down on the deletion of the “cold cats”, but that’s what was the big attraction.

For the 48, you cut your current cats and they bolt to the new xpipe.

Stock pipe (you can see the secondary cats just below the flange)



60547. You'll notice those cats are gone now. In the 60548 you cut the cats and install (mix of the two).

yeah man I hear that! The online pics are VERY similar looking...

There are still 60547's floating around here and there if that's what you were after.

Luv my 60547. It eliminates the secondary cats, but retains the OEM NPP. It roars in Sport/Track mode when you put your foot into it, yet no drone and you can cruise the neighborhood in Tour mode and not wake the neighbors.
