If you get the GS don't forget to ask for and pay for the wheel/tire insurance.

Thanks for all the comments. We are probably buying the Z and to clear some things up we were actually $2000 apart yesterday and I offered to split the difference with them and they declined so technically I'm $1000 away from their price. Yes the 24.5% discount is huge and I think it's a wonderful deal but I'm also not afraid to ask for more. I work hard for my money and if I can save an additional $1k that's $1k I don't have to earn back. The GS is a beautiful car and heavily discounted as well but the deciding factor is my wife having severe allergies will limit just how much that top can be down. I love convertibles and never planned to own another coupe but I want my wife to be able to enjoy it and the transparent top on the Z can be enjoyed year round.

Since we're sharing opinions, black wheels are also expensive, they cheapen the look of the car, and nobody can even see them over 10ft away. Now seriously they make both options because people have different likes and luckily for both of us we can get what we each like. I actually have no issue with black wheels, we even started out looking at vettes with black wheels but we like the chrome better. I agree the CCB are an excessive option and I wouldn't order them for the price but they happen to be on this car that's discounted and I like the fact of no brake dust.

Yes they are offering the 0% but you don't get all of the discounts that are being applied so it's much cheaper for me to take the discounts instead.

You and the dealer are only 1000 apart and that is preventing the deal from being made?? If that is your first choice, screw the 1K and go for the Z.

No that's not stopping me, we have been very torn on the coupe vs convertible more than anything, and the GS has more options that we like. I know the Z is awesome and I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun so I'm working on a few final details with the dealership this morning and hopefully it all works out.

Man, those are good deals whichever way you go.I'm partial to convertibles but the power of the Z is seductive. As I'm an old guy I also go with chrome. :-) I've been looking for 2018 deals too but %20 off is the best I've seen. You'd think that with the number of Z06's out there they would deal more. By the way I love the name of your town!

Go for the Z. The convertible is nice but the coupe has more truck space for luggage for a weekend trip. Also it's probably more quiet in the inside when the top is up on the convertible. The transparent top on the Z is a $1k option already. The GS has CCB and unless you are going to track the car, it's going to be a added repair expense vs regular brakes. Of course that's my 2 cents.

Well it's done and here's what we chose. I can't wait to go get it next weekend!
I wasn't able to get them down any more but got a very good deal. MSRP was $92,065 and purchased it for $69,500
I think we'll be very happy!!!

It is a beauty for sure. Congratulations, and enjoy. And in my book, you stole that car. What a deal.
