The rain came after the C7R had already crashed into each other in the pits and that seemed to just begin a cascade of problems they later encountered. All in all, it wasn't a stellar performance for them, but this is a new weekend!

A couple shots from early this morning, just prior to practice. It's good to see them and hear them again! Awesome cars!

Looks like rain again tomorrow (70-80% chance) in the afternoon and into the evening. I'm hoping it's not another Daytona-type downpour. I want to see a good clean race if the Porsche guys can learn how to behave.

Both Porsches on row 1. They're fast, but our boys will take 'em!!

They're safer in front, but they love to punt you when they're on your tail. They seem to target FGTs more often, as they did again at Daytona taking the likely winning FGT out of the race.

I hate to see that. I like the Fords too, but it shouldn't be happening to anyone.

I'm happy when either of the US entries win, and I really like close, competitive, and clean racing. It absolutely sucks when someone purposely tries to take someone out, and IMSA rarely penalizes for it. The Porsche team has figured that out, and it's worth the risk to them.

I agree. There's a difference between good hard racing and dirty racing....

That should change.Until it does..POP GOES THE whoever.I knew a driver in another type of racing that pulled that...The difference was when was bumped he corrected for payback bump that mostly moved or.Their was some wrecks that lost to the bump.
Rubbing is racing...To a certain degree.
Side drafting is huge.Sometimes the Side is misjudged
Ohh,That Weather Forecast...Never Saw That

The on track shots aren't all that great with my phone, so a few more from the paddock. My wife jumped when they fired up the 4 car - beautiful music!!
