Default HUD confusion

Hi All, I use the circular tach display on the HUD (2014 stingray) and it used to show multiple tic marks on the outside of the tach circle and it showed a brief green tic when I shifted. I changed something and now it only shows the plain circle--I have tried many combinations of settings but can't get the display back to where it was. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks, E-fish

Are you talking about the little yellow / red boxes around the tach? They go away as your engine warms up. They are there to caution you not to over-rev the engine when its cold.

Are these the tics your speaking of (marked in red):

Ohhh...keep pressing the INFO button to the left of your steering wheel - that will toggle through all the HUD views...

The only time I see the dots in the HUD are when it's on the hockey stick display.

I even looked this afternoon, and nada on the round display.

Eta: it does show a brief blue spot when shifting showing the rpms of the prior gear.

I think....the car goes into competition mode and that happens--caused by aggressive driving. display returns to normal when the car calms down.
