It was not as hard as I thought but I did have to use two pieces. I made sure to line up the weave at the seam so it matches perfect and you cant tell it's two pieces

AI am just happy that if I scrape it I dont have to hold a funeral

Very pretty. Of course only other C7 owners will be looking closely enough to notice the CF.

That really looks good! Looks like the real thing. Down there on the bottom like that you can't see the difference between it and the real thing. With splitters it isn't if you will damage them. It's when. (I know. Not in all cases.)

Exactly Joe , I could not bear the thought of spending a lot of money on a real carbon fiber splitter only to scrape or crush it ...

Installed on the car , It might not be real carbon fiber but I think it looks way better than the stock pebble texture

My C7 has carbon flash everywhere, no carbon fiber. I wanted to paint my poverty splitter carbon flash, but I figured with the amount of money and effort it would take to sand and paint to make it look respectable, I might as well buy the stage two splitter. Given my skill level, it still might look half assed after painting. I've blown enough money lately that I don't want to part with the funds right now.

The splitter above looks very nice. Any opinions welcome - would this look okay on a shark gray car with carbon flash accents everywhere (including wheels)? I'll eventually get the stage two splitter in carbon flash but this seems like a potential replacement until I reach that point.

Which vinyl did you use? I’d like to take a look at it online.

My car has carbon flash everywhere but I do have carbon fiber side skirts and like u I originally painted the splitter black but was not happy at all with the results ....I am not a painter lol

You can get wrap in Black
