Lifter failure
Getting new cam lifters and don’t know what else 14600 miles 35 months old 2016 Z06. Anybody else have this problem
how bad is this any metal in engine valves bent ??

Car is auto so it goes in and out car has been in sport mod almost entire time.

I had a broken valve spring that allowed the valve to drop into the cylinder..in my case rhe dealer (Rick Henrick Buford Ga ) stated that there was metal all over , even in intake manifold ... New motor .......
I have a friend that bought an LT1 that had bad lifters , GM repaired the motor and all is fine
Lifter failure if caught right away does not mean there are shavings all through the motor , most of the time it's just the scored camshaft ..

Hopefully your dealer/GM is fully covering the repair. Sucks that you have to go through this.
