Front Air Dam on 2016 C7

I had this exact type of vehicle, purchased brand new, and it did NOT come with a front air dam/splitter. I asked my selling dealer when I picked it up and they said it did not come with one, just the two little pieces in front of the tires. I want to remember they said it had to do with cooling. I believe the non Z51 stingrays did have the front air damn.

The front air dam is 3 pieces. 2 in front of the wheels and one to connect the two wheel pieces. The Z51 does not have the center piece but does have the two that are located at the sides to block air from hitting the wheels.
A non-z51 has the center piece air dam to present a full front airdam.
Since the air dams are really "effective" at fairly high speed, I removed the 2 side dams to stop the driveway scraping. If I ever (probably not) drive where the air dams would gain me something, I'd put them back on the car.

I agree with Elmer - the Z51 did not have the center air dam on the car from the factory.
