Default New member with first C7

Just wanted to say hey to all here being a relatively new member, just picked up 2016 Stingray Z51 and loving it. This is my second Corvette, My first was a C6 2009 Base I picked up back in 2015. Had it for about 2 years. It was getting up there in miles, Warranty was long gone and had a fix a few things beginning to fail.. So when someone quite literally threw me an offer I couldn't refuse... Had to let her go. But was already bit by the Vette bug... So over the next year and a half got myself in a position to get my first C7.. and she is a beauty. only 14k miles and she still looks, smells and feels brand new. Any tips tricks or info anyone has to offer on these cars I'm all ears

Z51 alright, but looks like he sold his 19/20's before you got the car. You can pick up a Z51 set for about $1000, or about $1500 with tires. Unless of course you start liking the cushy ride of the 18/19's.

You come to the right place for answers and tips. The search engine here and google is your friend. I love that color.. plenty of vendors here and members selling odds and ends like exhaust, chrome wheels and dress up pieces but that Red screams already. Welcome back!

oooh Snap. I didn't even question the size .. but did have thoughts about the wheels. Like that doesn't look like Z51 wheels. I just might have to change back to 19/20s this car has everything else. Even has the 5 performance modes (Weather, Eco, Touring, Sport and Race) ..Stiffens up the steering wheel when changing from Tour to Sport.. You can actually feel it stiffen up on the fly. its freaking just awesome ... I am definitely loving it. but some nice Z51 Stingray wheels would be nicer... Sheeesh I'm gonna be broke for the rest of my life .. lol

Love the color and best of luck!

A tip- take off that horrible stock license plate cover and get an aero plate that fits within the grill and does not damage the paint. The aero plate comes with a new C7 when it is delivered to a state that requires a front plate.

Since you already have the blacked out badges, the blacked out mirrors (bonus!!) and blacked out Z51 spoiler, you way want the black Z51 wheels to complete the look (not silver Z51's). The great thing is the choice is yours. He's another forum member...

Gorgeous car, Tfifeco!
Like you, I'm also a new owner of a C7; my first Corvette. The drive in this car is so cool; I've already amassed 1000 miles in the past three weeks and it isn't even summer yet. I keep looking for excuses to start it up and go somewhere, even if it's to the corner store to buy a gallon of milk.
