Super easy install (just carefully line it up), like < 1 minute.

Super helpful on the highway, really does work. Very happy with this product.

Don't be! just dry run it with the methods described here ( especially blankets or towels on the floor or ground below the work area ) you will be fine!

I made a trip with mine installed. It definitely takes a little getting used to driving, I would imagine that depends a bit on how long you've been driving your C7 too. The two different areas of focus in the mirror really helps with the field of view. I can't quite put my mind around how to describe things and if I love it or not. It's kind of like trying to refocus your vision when you switch between your cheater/readers and a distant object, at least it kind of feels that way to me. There is some slight distortion between the two different areas of the mirror too, which would be expected I believe.

I'm not taking it off (not sure how well it would come off anyway but think I could if needed) and I do like it. Just make sure you have some time to safely drive with it and get used to the change.

There are individual differences in visual accommodation that are physiologically documented. It was instant for me, and the dramatic improvement in field of view was very welcomed.

Just take a few minutes and watch overtaking vehicles in the mirror, what they look like at various distances, and where they are in the mirror when they appear beside you. You'll immediately see that they are still visible in the mirror when they become visible in your side window. That will help you adjust quickly.

^ agreed. It def takes getting used to.... you have to refocus your vision. It's not like the typical concave mirror found on the passengers side. This lens instead has a "fun house" mirror feel to it. It does help with field of view, but I think a typical concave mirror could have accomplished 90% off what this one does, but without all of the distortion.

It has a distinct advantage over the concave passenger side mirror. The part of the mirror closer to the window allows you to judge distance better because it's not nearly as distorted.

I installed mine a couple weeks ago (very simple process!) and was already convinced it was a winner, but the drive on Wednesday from Tampa up to Bowling Green just pounded it home. That thing is awesome!

I was concerned about installation. But followed Jet Ski's advice and others on the forum and it was no problem. Just take your time and apply with very little pressure so you can do minute adjustments if needed. Then when happy apply pressure. I raised mine before applying real pressure to set it by slipping a butter knife under it to raise it a miniscule amount.
Going for a drive now to check it out. Judging by the view while sitting in the driveway it is much improved.

Just got back from a drive. This mirror is great. With my mirror adjusted the old old way (with the edge of my car showing) I can once again see cars behind me and way over to the side without any blind spot. With the mirror adjusted the old way, (no edge of car showing), I could not see cars behind me in the side mirror only the rear view mirror. Nice to be able to see them in both and with my back window tinted seeing somewhat behind me is nice at night with no tint through the side mirror. For me, these mirrors remove all blind spots on the drivers side adjusted either way.

Chip: Why do your instructions say it's for "track use only"?

I just ordered one today and hope it doesn't take to long to ship. I have only had my C7 for 3 days now and was going to buy the little round one until I saw this. I am glad to see everyone is happy about buying them. My SUV mirror has a light in the corner that comes on when a car is in your blind spot, wish the C7 had the same.
