Finally ordered my first Corvette!
A corvette has been my dream car since I was 10 years old. 23 years later I finally placed my order for my corvette. Ive had GTOs and a G8 in the past. I just left the dealership and im pumped as hell!

Congrats! Nothing like getting exactly what you want, the wait is worth it. That orange will be a stunning car.
I ordered a Z06 a month ago and was told the order was accepted and moved to 2000 on Tuesday so I know the feeling.

Congratulation Rich. Ordering is the best way to get what you want on your Corvette. You never forget your first. Welcome the the family, and welcome to the forum. Keep us updated on the progress. Also, while you wait you need to practice your best Corvette wave so you can use it when you meet other members of the family.

Hey Rich, nice choices!! And welcome to the forum - a great bunch of enthusiasts who share good info. The excitement of getting a new car like yours is frustrating and fun at the same time. Not sure about what your plans are in NJ but, because of where we live, I have to put some cars away for the winter and it's like getting them new all over again each spring. :-)
Here's another thing that happens: you'll start to get to know more about the history of Corvette, the many great cars in each of the series, and then maybe you'll get the bug to own some older ones too. We got into chromies ('68-'72 C3s) and really enjoy them. We've purchased another - a '68 427/435 vert that we're going to pick up in CA in a few weeks. It gets in your blood!

Congrats Rich sounds like a sweet car! I ordered mine on September 22 and took delivery on October 30th. She hit the dealer on October 25th but I couldn’t get to her sooner due to the weather. Was a killer waiting but in retrospec wasn’t that long of a wait. Be sure to show pics when she comes in😎

Congrats, sounds like a nice combo! The wait will not be easy my friend, I am at the tail end of my wait (car on order) and it is very painful as days have become quite long and the sun is shining bright!

Congrats on your first. My base ‘16 is my first almost three years in. I’m a daily driver with no regrets. If you want to drive in the cold get your AS/3 Michelin’s. We’re up in Union, NJ so wave when you come through.
