I had contacted Les Schwab Tire first and the guy I spoke with had no idea what a jacking puck was.
I've had 5 flats fixed on my C7. All at Discount Tire. Never left a mark on the rims. Both stores had the Hunter touchless machine.

I have had a bead torn on a PSS 335 at Discount tire. They fessed up and bought me a new tire no questions asked. So yeah, it depends on the store what equipment they have. There was no touch-less machine withing driving distance of me.

Perhaps I missed someone saying it, but official MIchelin ZP repair policy is 1 inside plug/patch per tire in the center tread block (not near sidewall) is approved and does not affect speed rating. Any tire store or dealer that tells you otherwise is uninformed, and manufacturer guidance is the final word.

If on the road, get it plugged however you can, but then take it and have it properly plug/patched.

Been there, done that.

Carry this small device in the rear compartment. Have not had to use it and hopefully won't but "just in case." Good youtube video's of how it works! Hopefully it's that easy!
