They're saying I should have the car back on Monday (fine with me as it's going to be raining all weekend anyway )
do you remember when this happened to my car? Sorry you had to experience it, it'll all work out in the end, but what a royal PITA!
Car ran better than ever after the repair so hopefully yours will as well.

Gotta say I didn't until I looked at your past posts!

So far so good but as I said, the idle seems a little rougher and there is a definite cam lope sound at idle. I spoke with the tech about it and he's not quite sure what to say about it (that's never good!)...

We're leaving early tomorrow morning for a road trip and we'll see how it goes (put over a 100 miles on her since the rebuild and everything seems good - no more ECO either!)

Well..almost 400 miles and 3 days later, car was perfect without a single hiccup.

I'm ready for the Caravan!

Normally, its the balance of your warranty, so the new repairs do not start at 0. Gm will keep fixing everything until your warranty runs out.

True but don't forget the powertrain warranty is 5 years/100K miles

Ahhh indeed they did...

Either way, I expect if there continues to be problems with the engine, it'll show by then. We'll see....

Ken,
Glad it all worked out. I appreciate the way you let the warranty process work out and trusted your dealer to make it right. Your attitude through this whole process has been a great example of how adults should behave in difficult situations. Enjoy your upcoming trips!
